The inaugural “Global Welfare Summit” was held in Japan, 2013. The summit considered new approaches to the ageing population in Japan and the rest of the world. This year’s theme is Striking the Balance: Responsibility and Innovation in Care for the Ageing.
The GWS is a two-day conference, followed by a one-day Master Class. It is suitable for executives, management and senior staff in aged care as well as nursing and allied health specialists, and professional carers – both residential aged care and home care.

The speakers will share unique insights into how England, The Netherlands, Denmark, India, Japan, the USA and Australia are responding to drastic increases to the ageing population and cultural and behavioural shifts to residential and home care.
