Isha Australia cordially invites you to the International day of Yoga event on Sunday June 21

Jun 21, 2015 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

The hectic pace of modern life has brought with it an incredible amount of stress and
anxiety. Scientific studies show that daily practice of yoga reduces stress, anxiety and
depression; increases health, energy and vitality; enhances mental focus and clarity and
establishes a sense of peace, joy and deep inner balance. This, in turn, can create a
more peaceful and joyous global community around us.

A very unique resolution was proposed by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and
adopted by the United Nations, gave birth to the concept of International day of Yoga.
As a result, the importance of Yoga is now formally acknowledged globally.

As an active step towards this vision, Government of India invited Sadhguru, founder of
Isha Foundation to strategize and plan the celebration of the International Day of Yoga
worldwide. This resulted in Isha Foundation being appointed as a supporting partner to
all the Indian Embassies worldwide, by offering free yoga workshops, demonstrations
and classes on the day of and the weeks leading to June 21st, 2015.

Isha Foundation’s vision for ‘International Day of Yoga’ is to offer free yogic practices
to all Australians. These practices can be done daily within 5-21 minutes and can help
bring health, joy, peace, success and wellbeing to those who practice them (please see
the attached flyer for more information). In addition, Isha Foundation volunteers will
continue to offer these practices to the community free of cost by conducting workshops
to suit any business or community organisation.

So come, be a part of the celebrations and take away incredibly simple yet powerful
practices to bring a drop of wellbeing to your lives! You can read more about Isha
Australia and register for the event here: www.ishayoga.org.au
