Nominations for the 2017 India Australia Business & Community Awards are now open to all aspiring businesses, professionals, and community leaders from within Australia’s expansive Indian Diaspora. IABCA is a welcome sign of how far relations between India and Australia have evolved. With nearly one million people of Indian heritage now living across Australia, the annual India Australia Business & Community Awards (IABCA) recognises the rapidly increasing role that migrants are playing in shaping the economic and cultural backbone of this nation. Nominations are open until the 5th May, and we strongly encourage all eligible members of Australia’s Indian community to nominate themselves and reap the outstanding networking, branding and public profiling opportunities that come alongside an IABCA nomination.

In 2017, IABCA will move from New South Wales to Queensland and will be supported by the Queensland Government. The annual awards gala dinner will be hosted by the Hon Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier of Queensland, at the iconic Brisbane City Hall on the 13th October. The IABCA Gala dinner will host dignitaries from across the nation including His Excellency, Dr. A.M Gondane, High Commissioner of India in Australia and Her Excellency, Ms. Harinder Sidhu, High Commissioner of Australia in India.
