Urdu Forum is an incorporated not-for-profit organisation, formed in 2018, for the promotion of Urdu language and literature with a special emphasis on education.
Our objective is to promote inclusiveness, harmony, social cohesion and further enhance multiculturalism in Australia.
To improve understanding of Urdu, a centuries-old language and its associated literature, our activities are focussed on assisting people interested in improving their Urdu language skills by providing a supportive network and resource conduit. Our poetry workshops, storytelling sessions and other events, featuring local, inter-state and international proponents of Urdu language, are important factors in achieving this objective.
We have been conducting Free Urdu language classes since February 2020. Since its inception, over 100 children and adults have benefited from the program. Courses range from basic conversational Urdu to more advanced formats. With individually tailored programs and personalised tutoring, success is assured.
We invite people from all walks of life, ethnic and religious backgrounds to participate in the joy of promoting this beautiful language and its unique culture.
